After the SIM Registration Act, it is impossible to use a SIM without registration. Users must register their SIM cards, and if any user violates the SIM registration act/they will face different penalties. These penalties are:
- If the individual steals the SIM or if the individual provides wrong information and IDs for registration, then the individual has to face 6 months to 2 years in jail or up to ₱300,000 in fines.

What is the SIM Registration Act (SRA) in the Philippines
The SIM registration Republic Act No. 11934, known as the SIM card law in the Philippines, requires individuals to register their SIMs to access SIM services, such as calls. By registering the SIM, your mobile security has increased, and it also minimizes the threat of being scammed.
Note: It is not possible to register the old SIM card because the deadline for SIM registration was December 27, 2022. You can now purchase a new SIM card and register it. The minimum age of SIM registration is 18.

TM registration is very easy and does not require any complex things, but there are a few small things to keep in mind while registering your SIM. Here are the easy tips that I follow while registering my TM and Globe SIMs.

- To prevent any errors (such as a wrong CNIC) or penalties, make sure you always give valid and up-to-date information documents, including your ID.

- Sometimes the website might go down due to any problem, such as traffic peak hours, so wait for some time and then try again for registration.
- Do not use any third-party suspicious links or apps for registration to avoid serious errors or scams. Always use the official links, apps, or trusted sources for TM SIM card registration.
- In case of any issue, contact the TM SIM support immediately, and the dedicated support will assist you.
