Each prefix helps the user to identify whether it’s a prepaid prefix or a postpaid prefix. Not only Globe/TM, but all telecom companies have their own prefixes, and these prefixes help you to manage your network, calls, messages, and promos, etc.

Prefixes Confusion After MNP

MNP Mobile Network Portability enables users to change their sim network while using the same number. As of 30 September 2021, we cannot accurately identify Globe prefixes, due to MNP, a prefix that usually belongs to Globe is now a Smart prefix. This means sometimes a globe prefix belongs to Smart due to MNP.

How to Register Globe TM  SIM

If you just bought a Globe/TM SIM, you have to first register it; otherwise, you won’t be able to use the SIM. There are three methods for Globe/TM SIM Registration.

1. You can visit any Globe store and register your SIM.
2. Register your SIM through the GlobeOne app.
3. Globe/TM SIM registration online through the portal.
